Oriental Medicine
Initial Visit Consultation
$180 self pay fee | 2 hours
A traditional Oriental medicine consultation is a comprehensive and holistic approach to healthcare that emphasizes the balance and harmony of the body, mind, and spirit. During an Oriental medicine consultation, the practitioner, often an experienced acupuncturist or herbalist, begins by engaging in a detailed discussion with the patient. They gather information about the patient’s medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and emotional well-being. This conversation helps the practitioner understand the patient’s overall health condition and identify any imbalances or disharmonies within the body.
Next, the practitioner conducts a thorough examination, which may include techniques such as pulse diagnosis, tongue diagnosis, facial observation, and palpation of specific acupuncture points or meridians. These diagnostic methods provide valuable insights into the patient’s internal organ systems, energy flow, and overall vitality.
Based on the gathered information and diagnostic findings, the Oriental medicine practitioner formulates a personalized treatment plan. This plan typically combines various modalities, which may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and exercises such as qigong or tai chi.
Throughout the consultation, the practitioner also provides guidance on lifestyle modifications and dietary adjustments. This may include recommendations on stress reduction techniques, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and dietary choices based on the principles of Oriental medicine.

Initial Visit Consultation
$180 self pay fee | 2 hours
Usually lasts 2 hours. A functional nutrition consultation is a comprehensive and personalized approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of health issues through nutrition and lifestyle modifications. It combines principles from nutrition science, biochemistry, and functional medicine to optimize an individual’s overall well-being.
During a functional nutrition consultation, the practitioner conducts an in-depth assessment of the patient’s health history, current symptoms, dietary habits, lifestyle factors, and any relevant lab test results. This information helps to uncover potential imbalances, deficiencies, or dysfunctions within the body.
Based on the assessment, the practitioner develops a personalized treatment plan that focuses on optimizing nutrition and lifestyle factors to support the body’s natural healing processes and promote overall health. The plan may include specific dietary recommendations, supplementation suggestions, lifestyle modifications, and targeted interventions.
